Using My Weakness and My Gifts to Serve Him
It seemed selfish to focus on my health and make money from other people buying products. Then I realized that this stuff actually works! At home workouts, Shakeology, support and accountability. I mean, I had never stuck with healthy changes for more than 2 weeks at a time!

Still, I told myself I couldn’t do it too in the beginning.
That there was no way God could use this yo-yo dieter to help someone else get healthy. Surely I wouldn’t be able to stick with it.
That this girl who spent some time in college battling bulimia could encourage someone else to love themselves as God created them.
That this self doubter could set goals and keep pushing when I failed to meet them.
But you know what? Since I became a coach, God has totally brought this passage to life in my business.
“For his power is made perfect in weakness.”
You see? Even though I’m not capable of these things, I can do ALL things through Him.
And I believe God has gifted me with talents that He intended all along to use. I just had to submit.
Each of us has a different gift. To be used to reach different people on different ways for his kingdom.
It doesn’t matter if your gift is scrubbing toilets or trading bonds. For every person who chooses to follow Christ and submit their life to Him, they have a gift!
I am diving deep into my study of the Proverbs 31 woman. I took a brief hiatus with back to school, Summit, etc. But God is speaking to me so clearly through this passage and through Famous In Heaven and At Home by Michelle Myers.
You see, I always saw the book of Proverbs as a rule book. Something to try to live up to….this seemingly perfect woman who loved her husband so well and sacrificed so much for the good of her family.
But that isn’t the purpose of this passage. It is to show us yes “how” to live but “how to live well“! For our families, for us, but also for Christ.
And I now realize that in order to do so, I must make the most of my weaknesses and my strengths. Encouragement just happens to be one of the ones God gifted me with. And I am finding so much joy and peace from being where HE wants me to be!
Do I still feel odd about coaching and earning an income from encouraging others? Nope.
I wouldn’t visit my hairdresser or my doctor and expect to not pay for their services.
No, I believe that God has allowed me to do this coaching gig for two purposes: to serve Him and point others to Him as well as to provide for my family.
And He is blessing it….in BIG ways. And as long as He continues to lead me down this path, I will follow. I will use the gifts He provides to lift others other. To teach others. To encourage them. To lead them.
There is nothing spectacular about me or extra ordinary.
I’m just a girl who chooses to Believe. And GO for it! Without fear. Without doubt anymore.
And I am willing to WORK hard for what I believe in. In building a TEAM of coaches who love serving God and pointing others to Him through health and fitness.
And I’m looking for 5 more beautiful women to join my team.
This is FREEDOM…this is a life by design & I thank God EVERY.SINGLE.DAY for this incredible opportunity that has forever changed my life & my family’s life
