The Good and the Bad…God is Always In Control!

This past week has been a very emotional one for me.  In good and bad ways.  Let’s get the bad out of the way first, ok?

I go through seasons as a mom, a wife, a coach.  Seasons in which I know that Satan is making me doubt.  Doubt my focus, doubt my intentions, doubt my worth.  It’s like he has this special button in my brain that he knows he can push and it  will set me on a path of worry and fear.  And I always know when it’s him, because, God’s word is very clear about fear.

So, when fear creeps in, I know I need to go to my knees.  Now, I fully believe that God gives us feelings and warning signals when we are headed down a path He has not chosen for us. But those feelings come with much more peace than what I have been experiencing.

I have asked myself a lot lately,

“What if I’m not good enough?”

“What if I am hurting more than I am helping?”

“What if I am not equipped with the right tools to really make a positive difference?”

And do you know what I noticed???? The “I” part!

I know that on my own, I am NOT good enough or able to help or equipped.  But with God, anything is possible!

Thank God that I don’t have to rely on myself to make a difference in this world!!! God has equipped me with everything I need.  I just need to follow HIS direction…not Satan’s!!!  And undoubtedly, whenever I go through these periods of self-doubt, God always sends confirmation in His way.

Now to the good part…

I cannot tell you how awesome this past week has been.  I have received message after message from challengers and non-challengers.  Encouraging, hopeful, and uplifting messages!  I know that God has equipped me with the gift of Encouragement, but I still need to receive it as well.  And He has shown up in a big way!!!

Here are a few examples:

I have liked pretty much everything about this group (which is why I’m doing

the next one too )! It has helped me tremendously to see others’ daily

reports and to know that mine will be seen as well. I have done really well with

sticking to my meal plans and resisting (most) temptations and have even

almost completely given up soft drinks! I have also noticed improvement in my

moods and energy. I am still struggling with making myself workout and I will

continue to work on that! I still have a long way to go but am very proud of my

progress so far! – Brandi

Every post in this group has encouraged me & this group has definitely kept me

accountable. I’m still learning self discipline and how to rely on the Lord for

that strength. I’m grateful that even the small things like giving me the

strength to “not eat that Twix” is just as important to God as it is to me. I know

that if it wasn’t for the challenge group I would probably still be stuck

somewhere saying “I’ll start my diet tomorrow.” I’m so thankful for these

challenge groups for pulling me out of the slump. I feel so much better than I

did 2 months ago in so many ways! – Mallory

A month or so ago you posted a saying stating “you have circled this mountain

long enough now turn north”. That was huge in my decision to make some life

changes starting with my job. I have failed several times during the past 60

days but I have tried to not quit and let it define my coming days. That’s been a

huge mindset change for me. When I follow my meal plan and drink water I

feel completely different. I don’t have the afternoon “sugar crash” and that

keeps me from making bad decisions. The next group my focus will be making

working outs more of a priority! – Lydia

Awesome, right??? And the cool thing is that I know that is my God speaking to me!!! Just when I need it most!

I told my coaches this week that sometimes this coaching thing gets hard!  There are days that I am uncertain of my abilities or if the time is worth it, or if I am truly making a difference in the way God intended me to.  And then BAM!  He shoves it in my face!!! I love that God can be so NOT subtle!!!

I realize more and more everyday that anything worth doing in life will not be easy.  But if I stick with it, am consistent, and truly seek God’s direction, I can be successful.  I have no doubt that coaching is something God placed in my life to teach me this.  As if parenting alone weren’t hard enough, right??? Ha!

And while it sounds like I’m complaining, there are so many things I love about coaching!!!!
  • Getting to use my gift of Encouragement
  • Inspiring others and helping them realize their potential
  • Staying on track with my own health and fitness
  • The extra income it has afforded our family (I am paying for our trip to the Beach next month in FULL with my Beachbody income from this month!!!)
  • Making some pretty incredible new friends!!

I am blown away by the blessings I have received as a coach!  And I want to share this opportunity with others, because it is just that!!! An AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!

I am hosting a 5 day Sneak Peak via Facebook next week in which I will be sharing about what I do as a coach and about the opportunity.  This is not a commitment of any kind, but just an informational session.  I will share details about:

  • What motivates me.
  • How I got started.
  • How I earn income
  • Other coaches stories about their business.
  • How you can get started if you feel like this is for you.
If you are interested in joining the sneak peak, let me know by sharing your info with me below, and I will add you to the group! It will be fun and full of good information!
