Shake It Off…
Happy Happy Monday after a holiday! (insert eye roll….)
Seriously, I used to live in DREAD of Mondays. Especially after a long weekend. They seemed to sting a little more. Am I right?
Many people woke up today with dread in their hearts about returning to work and defeat in their mindset in regards to their food choices. You may be one of them. If so, I’d like to encourage you to “SHAKE IT OFF”….
No, not like Taylor Swift….
Like Isaiah!
You are never gonna hear me say over and over to “give yourself grace” in this area of your life. Or it’s ok, you can start over Monday. I had a lifetime of “Mondays” that I found myself starting over and only falling farther behind! I talk to too many believers who use “grace” far too frequently. We MUST have goals for our health. We MUST stick with them 80% of the time if we are going to see results.
But we MUST NOT live enslaved to bad choices. They only define us if we let them. You see, sweet sister? God didn’t make a mistake when it came to making you. You may MAKE mistakes, but you are NOT a mistake! And if you are a follower of Christ, the POWER of the Holy Spirit lives in you! Which means you CAN do this. But dwelling on regret isn’t gonna get you anywhere.
So no matter what last week looked like, you have an entire BLANK CANVAS ahead of you right now. A new day. A new week. Essentially a new month! and the BEST NEWS!!??? You get to CHOOSE what you do!
A Starting Point
Let me help a little. I know meal plans are like the most INTIMIDATING thing ever…if you’re anything like I was in the beginning. Where do I start? What do I eat? How much? Organic or no?
Let me make it simple. Cut out the sugar, the cokes (and diet cokes…) and the fast food. DO NOT go load up on all the fruits and veggies and then let them rot in your fridge, but DO buy what you need to make these meals!
Then What???
So, I have a meal plan to follow for a week, but then what??
I’m so glad you asked! Cause THIS is my specialty! I run virtual bootcamps EVERY month for women just like you! Who WANT results, and probably KNOW HOW to get them, but need a PLAN and some MOTIVATION!
