Raising the Bar – Pittsburgh Super Saturday Weekend
This past weekend was an absolute BLAST and just another confirmation for me that God has placed me exactly where He wants me at this time of my life.
Carl Daikler, CEO of Beachbody and my coach, Melanie |
For those of you who don’t know, Super Saturday is a quarterly event that Beachbody coaches host/attend all over the nation. It is an opportunity to learn about new things coming from the company, to receive training and growth, connect with other coaches and challengers, to fellowship, and to workout together. It’s a lot of fun. We have been hosting one here in my hometown for a while now. Sometimes they are big, and sometimes small. But it’s ALWAYS a good thing to be a part of ,and I always walk away invigorated and refreshed.

Dream Team Diamond Celebration |
- I wouldn’t post, because I was afraid what people would think.
- I wouldn’t invite people to a challenge group or to try Shakeology or even coaching, because I was afraid they would say “no”.
- I was SO afraid of failure that I was missing the point.
Speaking to Diamond Leaders |
My beautiful friend Farin. |
- To teach other women that they are valuable, capable and worth the investment in themselves.
- To teach women that they don’t have to settle for less than God desires for themselves.
- To lead other women in building businesses for themselves and income with integrity and that same purpose.
- To encourage and inspire women to trust God with their health and their wealth.
But if I’m being 100% honest, that’s not thing I love most about coaching.
- I love that I can sit at home in my PJs with a cup of tea and lead my team.
- That I can work this business and help my Health Bet challengers get ready to kick off an exciting new start in their health tomorrow while sitting by my fire.
- That everyday is the opportunity to consistently do the small things- like sharing my workout selfie or sending an encouraging message or inviting someone to take advantage of something that has changed my life!
- To model a strong work ethic for my children.
- To lead my team on weekly team calls from my warm and cozy home while my babies sleep in their bed.
It’s not the parties, the trips or the big shiny objects that make this business beautiful.
It’s the everyday, not so glamorous ones that happen when the world isn’t watching.
It’s not always easy. It’s not always fun and flashy, but it IS always fulfilling.
And I can’t imagine life without being a coach anymore. So long as God shows up and blesses what I’m doing, I’m gonna be here. Whether it’s in sequins or in my plaid pajama pants.
I hope that wherever you are in your life, that you were encouraged by this blog post in some way. And that you walk away believing in yourself and your abilities a little more. We are ALL beautiful creations of God and each intended for our own purpose. I want to encourage you to find yours and live it LOUD!
Don’t settle for a Shadowed Life!
