Obedience, Not Perfect – Week 2 Recap

Week 3 is HERE!  So, although I’m a few days late, here is a RECAP of Week 2.

Week 2 Recap & Results

The workouts are definitely getting harder, but I feel myself getting STRONGER as well!  Faster sets. Heavier weights.  More challenges is where the change happens!  AND…I’m totally getting RESULTS already which is exciting!

Week 2 Results

The Food

Timed Nutrition is proving to be something I am really enjoying!  Fueling my body at the right times of the day in regards to my workouts is making a HUGE difference in my stamina and my energy level. I wake up really energized and ready to tackle my workout by the time I get that pre-workout meal in. I do think I am actually going to have to start eating MORE food, because my metabolism is on FIRE!  That happens when you are in your proper weight range and challenging yourself with new workouts!

Obedience,  Not Perfection

I believe in being TOTALLY transparent here! It’s easy to look at transformations like I shared above and get discouraged. I know, cause I used to be the one scrolling and saying , “I could never do that.”
But what God has taught me is that it’s not about seeking to look like someone else or seeking the perfect body or even the perfect eating plan!

It’s about being obedient in our choices so that we HONOR Him and His beautiful creation { That’s YOU sweet friend } 💕!
It may look like my abs are coming together, but when I plank, they look like this!!! Hello! #mommyabs

And I LOVE them! They represent an imperfect body but one that bore two more of God’s BEAUTIFUL creations – my boys 💙💙.

God honors obedience friends, not perfection! Seek Him instead of what the world tells you is important!

“and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.” Romans 6:13

Your Turn

There are no secrets to why this program is working for me and countless other women. Change the way you eat. Figure out what your body needs. Feed it LOTS of REAL food and challenge it in new ways.  Your body will respond. 

It’s usually our brains that need the extra work.  I will SHOUT IT FROM THE ROOFTOPS until I go hoarse that God used these bootcamps and the community that comes with these programs to keep me on track. To help me stay committed. To realize that my body is a not a week long investment or even just an 80 day investment.

It is mine for the brief period I am on this earth and I can best serve Christ and others when I care for it! If you’re ready to get off the Merri-go-round of dieting and self hate, do it NOW! Not when you HAVE to, but because you CAN!
