Nashvegas, Friends, and an Anniversary!!!
This week, it has really begun to sink in the changes the last year has brought in my life. I am one month away from my one year anniversary as a coach. And let me tell you, this past year has absolutely FLOWN by!!!
September 2015 |
I remember my coach and all the others on our team talking about Summit. I was really a baby, and had no idea what all the hype was about. I was nervous and excited about getting started as a coach and just wanted to know HOW to begin. I wasn’t really worried about attending this huge training event where I wouldn’t know ANYONE!
Well, this year is completely different!!! I have made some amazing friends through coaching…many of whom I have not even met in person yet. I have grown much more confident in my business and through helping people in challenge groups, and I am READY for some awesome training and fun with my fellow coaches!!!!
Summit is Beachbody’s biggest annual training event for coaches. We all come together to network, learn, workout, and just have fun getting to know each other. This year the event is in Nashville, TN, which works perfectly for me. Just a 2.5 hour drive, and I’m there.
We will start with some smaller team training from my coach, Melanie and then jump into workouts. Then the next two days will be jam packed with training, recognitions, dinners, parties and hopefully a little sleep. I know I will be so exhausted, but it will be so worth it.
Hope |
And not only that, I get to spend it with the most amazing people!!! I have said before, but meeting new people as a coach has been way at the top of my favorites list. I get to go with one of my own coaches from my team – Hope – whom I adore and have had so much fun getting to know. Hope is so amazing and has such a huge heart. We have fun together.
And Kristina, one of my favorite people in the whole world, is flying in from Washington state to stay the night with me and then drive to Nashville with me. I have been waiting almost an entire year to meet this lady. Her heart for the Lord and her passion for life are so inspiring. It is truly one of those “kindred spirit” kind of things with us. We connected immediately, and she has truly been such a huge support system for me.
And then there is Jill. She is a fellow coach in Michigan, and she and I have ridden this ride almost side by side the entire time in our business. We have grown at the same rate, and we have asked each other about a billion questions over the past year. She is always there to help me or encourage me when I get discouraged, and we are rooming together along with one of her coaches in Nashville.
And, of course, there’s Melanie. She is my upline coach, and she is AMAZING!!! Not only because she’s the #1 coach in Beachbody, but because she’s just real. This woman works her tail off to help us. She’s humble, kind, and tough when she needs to be. She’s a mom to two precious little boys; she loves her family first and she loves us after that ;)!!! Seriously, she puts her heart and soul into coaching and helping others, and she is a huge reason I have been successful as a coach. I know I won’t get to see her very much, because she’s going to be SUPER busy, but I can’t wait to just hug her neck and tell her thank you for the DAILY support she has given!! If I can lead my coaches with half as much grace and integrity as Melanie, I will be accomplishing great things!!!
And honestly, I am not writing this to brag on myself or my accomplishments. I am truly humbled and blown away by how God has blessed me through coaching. I didn’t expect that it would fulfill me so, or that I would meet such incredible people, or that God would speak to me and show me things about myself that I never realized. I have grown so much closer to Him through this journey, and I KNOW that He led me here.
Never underestimate what God has in store! |
So!!! Stay tuned, and I’ll let you know how it goes. There are so many good things coming down the pike for me in my coaching business and I cannot wait to share more!!!
