My #mbf Results!

It’s been too long since I’ve share my fitness results from the programs I get to test out! I’ve been working away over here, I promise!

But if I’m also being honest, it’s been too long since I’ve been where I know I NEED to be fitness wise. It has been a long hard year, and I’m not talking COVID. I’m talking family struggles (not my immediate family, but the extended one!), deciding where we are headed for our family, navigating the ever-changing world, and more.

I had fallen into an embarrassing pattern of behavior:

  • Stay up late & binge watch tv
  • Drink a glass of wine to unwind.
  • Eat all the things because I was staying up too late and drinking the glass of wine.
  • Repeat 3x/week

And I had some regression on my hands when it came to my fitness!

As always, God is faithful, and He knew that wasn’t HIS BEST for me! Through the encouragement of some friends, some SERIOUS prayer, and the support of my online community, I took back the reigns and did what I KNOW works!

  • Praying DAILY over my choices & surrendering them to God
  • Throwing the JUNK out!
  • Sharing my goals and struggles with my girls for accountability
  • My 30-40 minute workouts at home.
  • Portion control and tracking my nutrition
  • My daily superfoods shake.
  • And then #mbf when it launched this summer!

Muscle Burns Fat

Phase 1 Results from #mbf

This program is founded on the idea that muscle burns fat. And BOY, does it! I went ALL in to this program. Mostly, because it appealed to me, but also because I KNEW I NEEDED to!

My job as a coach is to encourage other women to love their bodies, because God loved them first. To ditch the vicious cycle of self-defeat and to EMBRACE God’s truth about our bodies.

” man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.” Deuteronomy 8:3

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

And while I KNOW these verses well, I was NOT living them well. I realized this year that I need to SATURATE my brain with Truth to overcome the lies Satan was feeding me. So instead of just praying over my choices once a day, I began intentionally praying for self-control over my meals. I posted scripture throughout my house to remind me of God’s truth and to combat the lies that “I deserve this” or “just one won’t hurt”.

Every moment of everyday is a fight, my friend. And if you have fallen victim to the lie that doing something God’s way will be easier, it’s time to shake that off and realize change is HARD! And Satan will do all he can to make you doubt what you’re doing and tell you that you deserve things that will separate you from your Creator!

So, I share my results and my story. Not because I am PROUD of the work that I have done. But because I am HUMBLED by how God draws me to Him through my fitness over and over.

What’s Next?

I lost 4 lbs and over 6 inches!

Glad you asked! This program is a two phase program. I finished #mbf and have started #mbfa (Muscle Burns Fat Advanced). It is 21 days, so stay tuned for those results too!

My community of women testing this program out are getting SUCH good results, I’ve decided to base my September Full Life Project group on #mbf too! So, I am opening the doors for YOU to join us if you haven’t already!
