How I Define Hard?
Add caption |
I chuckle when people tell me that coaching is too hard.
Being overweight is hard.
Being underpaid is hard.
Being in debt is hard.
Being uncertain of the future is hard.
I’ve been all those things. And I wasn’t honoring God at all with any of it.
We’ve been conditioned to believe that it’s easier to take a pill for our health issues rather than work to change them.
It’s easier to live a mediocre life and build masses of debt instead of working hard to build an income and be free of debt.
It’s easier sit on the couch, eat Oreo’s, and binge watch Parenthood than to work after the kids go to bed building a business and making a positive impact on those around us.
Sure I work hard, but the benefits I receive in return are IMMEASURABLE!
- I’m honoring God with what I do with my body!
- I’m not fighting that vicious cycle of defeat by starting and stopping in my health.
- I’m not on cholesterol meds anymore!
- I am not spending my extra hours being unproductive.
- I am HELPING other people lose weight, get healthy and build an income.
- I am working my way out of debt that was dragging us down.
- I am building a retirement plan for Matt and myself.
- I am putting back money for the boys’ college every single month!
- I’m taking my family on vacations we would not have been able to otherwise!
