An Anti-Inflammatory Meal Plan!

I’m wrapping up my Ultimate Reset, which I didn’t finish so well since we have been sick this week. #fulltransparency It requires lots of fresh food and preparation, and I just didn’t make it a priority with the boys being sick and then myself. I’ve learned over the past few years not to be to hard on myself when things I cannot control happen.

But I’ve also learned not to make excuses. My home is always filled with good, whole foods, so I’ve just made the best choices I could the past few days.

And I’m honestly so excited to get back to eating foods that I wasn’t allowed to have these last two weeks – things like MEAT and EGGS! In the past year, I’ve learned that my body functions BEST on an anti-inflammatory meal plan. I completed the Whole 30 last summer, and it was the BEST I’ve felt in a long time. Eliminating sugar, alcohol, grains, legumes and dairy makes my gut HAPPY and my brain so so clear!

So I built my meal plan based on these principles this week.

As you can see, I’m not lacking in options or flavor. I’ll skip things like cheese on my tacos and croutons on my salad, but it’s really not as hard as it sounds.

I am also getting back to Intermittent Fasting. My body and my brain love the rest between meals. I like to do 2-3 longer fasts a week for autophagy and cellular renewal. I’ve done a lot of reading and research this last year to learn more about what is best for my body as I age, and this is just what works for me at 41!

While I love to lead women in health and fitness and share what works so well for me, I ALWAYS encourage you to ask questions and do your own research! I’ve found that most medical doctors do not have much nutritional knowledge, so it’s important we fight for our own choices and knowledge!
