A Trip of Firsts
I never know where to begin when my heart is so overwhelmed with JOY! The words feel trapped inside. I think because I want to selfishly hold onto the memories for fear they will fade if I let them out! (Does that make ANY sense?)
Our trip to Mexico….ALL the feels, my friends!
I’ll just start at the beginning…
How Did I Earn This Trip
If you just started following me, you may not know that I am a health and fitness coach! I help other women get started in their health and fitness journeys at home, teach them to meal plan, and pour God’s TRUTH into their hearts in our private fit tribe accountability groups! I would do it without the rewards, but the company I have chosen to link arms with in this mission actually REWARDED me for hitting some big goals last year.
So, my sweet family and I found ourselves on a flight from Nashville to Cancun last week to celebrate with my coach crew!
Firsts!
This was the FIRST trip as a family that the boys needed passports for! Matt and I have been HUGE travelers for most of our lives, so to be able to take our boys on this adventure was EXCITING for us! IT was their first time flying as well, and they were absolute champs! IT was also the first time the boys attended one of mommy’s coaching events, and truthfully…it meant the WORLD to me to allow them to see and meet some of the people I interact with DAILY from my home office.
I love these women. They are my friends, my business partners, my accountability and they PUSH me to be a better individual. I know without a doubt that I NEVER would have had the opportunity to meet them if I hadn’t stepped out and dropped my YES to coaching when I did 3.5 years ago!
Adventure
While it was a “work trip”, it was still very much a family vacation! We stayed at the Riviera Maya Hard Rock resort, about an hour outside of Cancun. I would definitely go back! There was so much to do, and we never left the resort!
We swam in the MANY pools. At the beach. Walked the entire resort countless times. We kayaked, snorkeled, and ATE.. can you say ALL INCLUSIVE?! The boys’ favorite part was the American Ninja Warrior type obstacle course. I think they did it EVERY day and one day they were there for HOURS!
Celebration
Friday evening was a night of celebration for some select coaches. I am humbled to have been a part of this exclusive group of coaches who made a HUGE impact in 2017. Yall, i DO NOT take my role lightly. I know that every good thing in my life, my family and in my business comes directly from God, and the achievements I have reached in coaching are no different.
Last year was a wonderful year in my business and for my team. Team Take Heart achieved the exclusive title of a Premiere team, and while my leaders were not able to be with me to celebrate, I want to make sure they know HOW much they mean to me! I would not be able to achieve anything or make as big of a ripple effect on women’s lives without them fighting this good fight alongside me!
Next Year
Next year, I will be heading out on a cruise ship to the Caribbean to celebrate yet again. I have already secured my spot on the ship. And I want more women there with me who love others, work hard, want to honor Jesus with their lives, and build a business that points others to Him!
