Team Take Heart Spring Retreat!
Our 2017 Spring Emerald retreat is a wrap, and I am excitedly exhausted from a beautiful weekend!
As a coach, I have two jobs: One is helping my challengers achieve their health and fitness goals. By matching them up with a fitness program, nutrition guide, providing support and accountability, I get to mentor you guys in a closed setting. I get to share my faith and how God used His word to change my desires and my unhealthy habits. I get to cheer you guys on, share tips and ultimately keep you motivated with your eye on the goal of a lifestyle change through the good days and the bad!! And I LOVE it! I love hearing a challenger tell me they feel better the first week. They are sleeping better and have fewer stomach issues.
Hearing a challenge get EXCITED to be in a smaller pants size for the first time in YEARS! To see a mom gain more confidence with her husband. To be able to go shopping again and be excited about it and not have to dread the experience.
To hear a challenger tell me that food was controlling their life for WAY to long and that they have given that up to God! My story is the same as all of these real life messages from challengers, so my JAM is to help other women change their lives the way mine has changed.
The OTHER side of this job is helping my coaches do what I do. Mentoring them and expanding this crazy awesome reach we have through social media to make and even BIGGER impact on the world. To reach MORE women and men who have been struggling for way to long.
To teach my coaches how to share their story, invite friends and family and new friends to experience this beautiful Beachbody challenge group community.
As I do that. As I build leaders and train my team, my business naturally grows as well. And when I realized I could have success by helping my team be successful, I wanted to shout for joy and just tell God a big fat “THANK YOU!” over and over!

We each came to coaching by a different way. Each has our own stories
My goal as a mentor is to team my team with the resources I have, so they don’t have to re-invent the wheel. Everything that I have – every resource, every guide, every video – I make available to my team! The past 2.5 years as a coach have been the BIGGEST blessing both physically and financially!
And if you follow me on social media, you know that this weekend some of my team members and I went away for an Emerald Retreat in Huntsville, AL. We stayed at the beautiful home of one of my coaches. It was SUCH a fun weekend! Filled with so many wonderful takeaways!

I did an Emerald Retreat in the Fall, and I knew I wanted to do it again! I set qualifications for coaches to attend, and told them about it months ago, so they could begin working toward that goal.
What did they have to do?
1. They had to achieve Success Club 5 in February and March, which means that each of those months they had to help at least 3 people get started in their fitness journey.
2. They had to be a minimum of an Emerald Coach, which means they had personally sponsored 2 coaches on their team.
3. They had to pay a $25 deposit for their spot.
4. They had to pay for travel to the retreat, but I handled the rest!

All because of one decision.
One decision to get healthy.
One decision to change my situation.
One decision to not settle for mediocre anymore.
One decision that has turned into so many more!
And now that we’re back home, it’s time to get to work and put our goals and our dreams we shared into action! I truly believe that each of these women is well on the way to being the TOP leaders on Team Take Heart and I can’t wait to see that happen over the next few months and years! I am SO committed to helping them reach their goals.
